Mobile home donated to St. Vincent Church
A 3-bedroom mobile home has been donated to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for a mother of seven to use. Project HOPE, a faith-based mentoring program for families making the transition from welfare to work, helped the woman connect with the church so that she might receive the new home.
The mobile home was moved from Glennon, Mo., to Marston, Mo., so that the family could be closer to relatives. The mother had been working with St. Vincent's Christian service outreach program and Project HOPE for two years to improve parenting skills, find a job and rebuild her life, said Denis Rigdon, director.
