EUNICE MAUREEN HEDGE

ADVANCE -- Eunice Maureen Hedge, of Advance, died Friday, Aug. 9, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Hedge, 78, was born Sept. 26, 1912, in Wayne County, Mo., daughter of Fern and Addie Costephens Underwood.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church at Gordonville.

She was married to Cortez Hedge on Oct. 24, 1929. He preceded her in death Aug. 5, 1985.

Other survivors include three sons, Fred Hedge and Donald Hedge, both of St. Charles and Paul Hedge of St. Louis.; a brother, Harold Underwood of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Mr. Alma Tucker, of Redding, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one great, great, grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

Service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Karl Leeman officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery near McGee, Mo.
