EUGENE R. CASHION

PERRYVILLE -- Eugene R. Cashion, 94, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1993, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 18, 1899, in Perry County, son of Robert J. and Emma Endres Cashion. He and Birdie Clifton were married Feb. 26, 1930. She died Dec. 20, 1989.

Cashion was a farmer. He was a member, deacon and trustee of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, member of Masonic Lodge 226 at St. Marys, and Order of Eastern Star in Perryville.

Survivors include a son, Robert Cashion of Perryville; three daughters, Mary Earheart of St. Louis, Gloria Sanders of Fairview Heights, Ill., Betty Benz of Jefferson City; two brothers, Tony Cashion of Perryville, Martin Cashion of Ontario, Calif.; two sisters, Mae Galloway and Bertha Erselius of Fort Collins, Colo.; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and a grandson.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Rudy Pulido will officiate, with burial in Home Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-9 p.m. Friday, and after 6:30 a.m. Saturday. A wake service will be held Friday at 7 p.m.
