KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Missouri Ethics Commission is investigating Kansas City Mayor Mark Funkhouser's campaign fund reports.

The mayor has acknowledged bookkeeping errors in accounting for more than $360,000 in contributions, but he said Tuesday that officials will find no problems with his campaign finances.

A Jan. 18 letter from the commission to Funkhouser does not disclose details of its investigation. But The Kansas City Star reported two days earlier that finance filings for the Funkhouser for Kansas City Committee showed an $80,000 discrepancy.
