A "Country-Pop Showcase" will be presented Sept. 27 at the Capaha Park band shell, sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department.
It will feature country, pop and bluegrass music from area bands, including Almost Country, Tufa, Nite Shift, Decade, Country 105 and the Southland Band.
Also scheduled to perform are members of the Heartland Songwriters Association, who will present original material.
The parks department may book other bands, those interested should contact Penny at the department at 335-5421, or Mitch Herod at 335-8418.
The concert is free and seating will be limited. Lawn-chairs or blankets are recommended.
The concert will last from 2 to 9 p.m.
