Eighth District Congressman Bill Emerson has scheduled an old-fashioned political rally on Aug. 27 at the Arena Building in Cape Girardeau.

The barbecue dinner will begin at 6 p.m. A brass band will perform.
Tickets for the picnic are $8. Children under 12 will be admitted free.
Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 335-0033, or at the door on the day of the event.
