EMERSON PLANS HEALTH CARE MEETING AT SHOW ME CENTER ON WEDNESDAY

U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson will hold a health care advisory forum Wednesday at the Show Me Center.

The meeting will run from 8:30-10:30 a.m.

The health care advisory team is open to all interested persons.

The Cape Girardeau meeting is one of two scheduled in the district next week. The other is scheduled for Monday in Rolla.

This will be the second round of health care meetings hosted by the Cape Girardeau Republican.

Emerson said the meetings will focus on ways to improve the affordability and accessibility of health care in southern Missouri.
