ELKS LODGE NAMES TWO STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

Kelly Russell and Lucy Knaup have been named Students of the Month by the Cape Girardeau Elk's Lodge 639.

Russell, 17, is a senior at Cape Central High School and is the daughter of Keith and Margaret Russell of Cape Girardeau.

She has been active in varsity tennis, National Honor Society, International Thespian Society, chamber choir, Red Dagger, and Drug & Alcohol Awareness Troop.

She is in the top 10 percent of her class, and an honor roll student.

Knaup is 17 and a senior at Notre Dame High School. She is the daughter of Richard and Carla Jo Knaup of Cape Girardeau.

She in active in student council, National Honor Society, volleyball, softball and girls basketball manager.
