Ashlee S. Hale, a senior at Notre Dame High School, and Aimee Bittle, a senior at Cape Central High School, have been named April Students of the Month. Hale, 17, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hale of Cairo, Ill. She has been active in cheerleading, Student Council, Spanish Club, Pep Club and Students Against Drunk Drivers. Ashlee S. Hale, a senior at Notre Dame High School, and Aimee Bittle, a senior at Cape Central High School, have been named April Students of the Month.

Hale, 17, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hale of Cairo, Ill. She has been active in cheerleading, Student Council, Spanish Club, Pep Club and Students Against Drunk Drivers. She is an ice skating instructor at The Ice in the Plaza Galleria.

Hale is a member of the National Honor Society and is on the Dean's List at Southeast Missouri State University with 18 college hours. She plans to attend Southeast and obtain a degree in secondary education.

Bittle, 18, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bittle of Cape Girardeau. She has been active in cheerleading, varsity softball, Letterman's Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society and Young Life.

She has been on the A and B Honor Roll all through high school and is a member of the National Honor Society. She is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students.

Upon graduation, she hopes to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia and major in physical or occupational therapy.
