Electrical fire damages Jackson home Friday morning
Jackson and Cape Girardeau firefighters battled an electrical fire for an hour and a half Friday morning at 2020 Bainbridge Road in Jackson. According to Jackson firefighter Ryan Davie, crews were called to the scene around 5:30 a.m. and had the fire under control shortly before 7 a.m. The homeowners had been inside the home when the fire started but were not injured.
The extent of damage to the residence was not known at press time.
