Reason for running: I want to make sure that all students have the opportunity to reach their potential. We must hold ourselves accountable to the taxpayers on how the district is operated. I think we have some of the best administrators, teachers and support staff in the area. I would like to be able to continue working and supporting them.

Reason for running: I have decided to run for the one-year term because the district will be in a transition period with the incoming superintendent. I have identified specific improvement opportunities (advisory committees, communications, organizational efficiency and teacher/staff compensation) to move the district forward and support the transition. I feel this one-year term will present the opportunity to pursue these goals.

Reason for running: I feel the Delta School District has one of the finest schools in the state. I also feel the academic level has slipped. There's a lack of teacher experience, a lack of community involvement. I feel the administration needs to enforce rules and bylaws more strongly and communicate more with the community.

Reason for running: This is challenging times for our public schools. I would like to use my education and experience in managing schools to be of service to our local district. A school district is no better or worse than the community expects and, more importantly, accepts. I feel that I can help establish realistic goals and help achieve those goals.

Reason for running: First, I wish to serve the community in which I grew up and now live. Secondly, I am concerned that students of the Meadow Heights School District are not receiving the education that they deserve. This is evident when our students are not performing as well as others in surrounding districts.
