Eight Pemiscot County residents were arrested Friday in a joint investigation by local, state and federal authorities.
The Pemiscot County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. State Marshals Service, along with the Bootheel Drug Task Force, Hayti Police Department, Caruthersville Police Department and the Steele Police Department executed on Friday a countywide warrant sweep, according to a news release by Pemiscot County Sheriff Tommy Greenwell.
The following eight individuals were arrested on federal, state, county and local city warrants: Bobby Reno, 40, and Kimberly A. Clark, 21, of Caruthersville; Edwon B. Cannon, 39, and Jennie M. Johnson, 39, of Hayti; Billy D. Lucas, 47, and Lyndi M. Lucas, 24, of Steele; and Phyllis K. Fane, 45, and Willie C. McGruder, 46, of Hayti.
The warrant sweep was part of the U.S. Marshals Operation Falcon, which is a nationwide program in which the Marshal Service assists local law enforcement in the execution of outstanding arrest warrants.
During the warrant sweep, officers also cleared 11 more warrants on people who were already incarcerated in state or federal prison.
