Egyptian School holds annual arts festival today

Egyptian School will present its third annual Festival of the Arts and Technology Fair today. The event features the music, art, dance and food of Latin American countries. It is funded through a fine arts grant from the Illinois State Board of Education. The high school band and choir will perform. Third- and second-grade students as well as art students will give presentations. The technology fair will show examples of the way technology is used in learning activities in different curriculum areas. The event is free and will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Egyptian School in Tamms, Ill.
