CHAFFEE -- Dr. Shelba Branscum, an instructor in early childhood education and family relationships at Southeast Missouri State University, will be featured speaker at a Chaffee Parents As Teachers meeting Thursday.
The Parents As Teachers organization serves the Chaffee, Delta, Kelly, Kelso and Scott City school districts. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Chaffee High School Arts Building, 109 Fifth Street.
Branscum will speak on "Dealing with Children and Sexuality." The meeting will deal with teaching children about their sexuality beginning in the preschool years, and including the teen years.
Free babysitting and refreshments will be provided. For additional information, contact the Parents As Teachers office at 887-6920.
