EDUCATION HONOR

John E. Carpenter, vice president of Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau, has received a plaque for his completion of voluntary continuing education from the Missouri Institute of Funeral Professionals.

Carpenter received the plaque from Jim Pittman, president of the Missouri Funeral Directors Association, during a meeting of the group at Springfield last week.

Carpenter was also reappointed to the continuing education committee, and appointed chairman of the Organ-Tissue Committee, which provides education and donor information and coordination between hospitals and funeral service personnel.
