Economist James B. Bullard and Dennis W. Blase will discuss the Cape Girardeau economy and local banking conditions during a Regional Economic Forum, to be held at the Drury Lodge in Cape Girardeau Wednesday, beginning at 5 p.m.
Regional economic forums are hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis to provide national and regional economic information to 8th District bankers, businesses and community leaders.
Bullard will compare and contrast the U.S. and Cape Girardeau economies during the session. Blase, a supervisory officer of the Federal Reserve Bank will discuss the performance of local banks and banking trends in the district.
