Pearl Harrell of Troy, worthy grant matron of the Grand Chapter of the Missouri Order of Eastern Star, will make an official inspection of the chapters of the 49th District today.

The meeting will be held in the Masonic Temple Hall in Jackson at 6:30 p.m.

Harrell, the chief executive of the 35,000 members of the Grand Chapter of Missouri, with worthy grand patron Paul Lineberry of Columbia will direct the business sessions of the inspection. The program includes instruction in the ritual and ceremonies of the order, interpretation of grand chapter law and practices and explanation of charities and projects.

Debbie Hay of Jackson is the district deputy grant matron and is in charge of the arrangements.

Eastern Star chapters include Cape Rock 60 of Cape Girardeau, Jackson 91, Oak Ridge 310 of Millersville, Perryville 46, St. Mark's 167 of Cape Girardeau, Victory 431 of Marble Hill, Whitewater 174 and Zalma 509.
