CHARLESTON, Mo. -- An East Prairie, Mo., church pastor arrested on child pornography and sodomy charges now faces an additional charge of sodomy.
Kenneth Neal Allen, 36, waived his preliminary hearing Thursday in Mississippi County and is due to appear at 1 p.m. July 10 in Mississippi County Circuit Court before Judge David Dolan. A bond reduction request was also denied.
Allen will appear before Judge T. Lynn Brown at 9:15 a.m. July 11 in Mississippi County Associate Court on a new sodomy charge which was filed Thursday.
Allen's wife, Beth Lynnette Allen, 36, of East Prairie also appeared in court Thursday on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child. Her case was continued, and she will appear at 9:30 a.m. July 18 before Brown.
Kenneth Allen, who is pastor of Grace Apostolic Church, was originally charged with three counts of first-degree statutory sodomy and possession of child pornography.
