An earthquake preparedness seminar will be presented for business owners and managers at the Southeast Missouri State University Center July 12.
Purpose of the course is to educate participants about earthquake risks and encourage preparation.
The course will cover earthquake background, the New Madrid Fault, preparedness for businesses, mitigating damages and injuries, and legislation and education.
The seminar is sponsored by the Small Business Development Center of the university. Additional information is available by calling 290-5965.
