Southeast Missouri State University will celebrate Earth Day with an outdoor music festival Saturday from 1 to 10 p.m. on the university's Academic Terraces. Bands performing will include Cape Rock Drive, NIL8, Big Electronic, Color Will, and Bob Camp.
Festival participants can also learn about the environment from organizations like the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Missouri Department of Conservation, Cape Girardeau Public Works Department, and SEMO clubs and organizations.
There will be animals from Jurrocks Park Zoo and game booths. Free food from Schnucks and promotional items will be available.
The event is free and the public is invited.
