PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Perry County deputies concluded a months-long drug investigation with the arrest of 20 people on charges ranging from selling small amounts of marijuana to the sale of cocaine and methamphetamines, the Perry County Sheriff's Department announced Monday.

Several of those arrested were charged with selling the drugs near schools. In many instances, those arrested had records for minor crimes such as misdemeanor assault, marijuana possession or bad checks. In each instance, Perry County Sheriff Gary Schaaf said in the news release, those charged sold drugs to an undercover operatives.

The following people were arrested, according to the news release:

  • Cory A. Woods, 22, of Perryville, charged with felony distributing/delivering not more than five grams of marijuana. Woods has pending cases for domestic assault, property damage and bad checks.
  • Donnie W. Roberts, 19, of Perryville, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Also charged with felony distributing or delivering not more than 5 grams marijuana.
  • Donald L Waeltz, 46, of Perryville, charged with felony possessing chemicals with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance, felony unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Damien Roberts, 17, of Perryville, charged with felony distributing/delivering not more than five grams of marijuana.
  • Jeremy M. Henderson, 23, of Perryville, charged with felony distributing/delivering not more than five grams of marijuana. Henderson has a previous conviction for marijuana possession.
  • Joseph A. Redding, 26, of Perryville, charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance. Redding has a previous conviction for marijuana possession.
  • Curtis D. Lailer, 20, Perryville, charged with two counts of felony delivery or manufacture of an imitation controlled substance. Lailer has a 2005 conviction for misdemeanor theft.
  • Donald R. Pankey, 42, of Perryville, charged with felony distributing a controlled substance near a school and misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.
  • Dustin W. Oehlert, 21, of St. Mary, Mo., charged with felony distributing a controlled substance near a school. Oehlert has a conviction for marijuana possession.
  • Barbara A. Chandler, 30, of Perryville, charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance. Chandler has convictions for misdemeanor assault and domestic assault.
  • Clinton L. Chandler, 34, of Perryville, charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance. Chandler has previous convictions for felony stealing, possession of marijuana, misdemeanor assault and domestic assault.
  • Gerad P. Naeger, 23, of Perryville, charged with felony distributing a controlled substance near a school. He has a previous conviction for marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia.
  • David C. Powell, 28, of Perryville, charged with felony distributing a controlled substance. Powell has previous cases for marijuana possession and bad checks.
  • Mary A. Kerbler, 17, of St. Clair, Mo., charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Brandon L. Boley, 19, of Perryville, charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance. Boley has cases pending for marijuana possession and receiving stolen property.
  • Raymond E. Lindsey, 41, of Perryville, charged with felony distributing a controlled substance near a school. He has a previous conviction for selling marijuana and writing a bad check.
  • Tonya A. Baker, 36, of Perryville, charged with felony distributing a controlled substance near a school. She has a previous conviction for selling marijuana.
  • Michelle S. Boner, 47, of Perryville, charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance near a school.
  • Skyler N. Carter, 20, of Cape Girardeau, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Mark A. Villanueva, 26, of Cape Girardeau, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful use of paraphernalia.
