Firefighters in Chaffee now have control of a fire in a downtown apartment building. The top floor of the building was engulfed when firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.

The top floor of the building was engulfed when firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters from at least four departments helped battle the blaze. They are still on the scene.

The building is owned by Jared Jackson and is located at 114 South Main. It's also known locally as the former Graham Plumbing and Heating building.
