PHILADELPHIA -- Donkeys will be dispatched around Philadelphia this summer before the Democratic National Convention, set for July 25 to 28 at the city's sports complex. Fifty-seven fiberglass donkeys will be displayed at various sites and attractions starting July 1. The symbol of the Democratic Party will represent each U.S. state, territory, Washington, D.C., and Democrats abroad. They will be painted with iconic images from each location.
