WELLINGTON, New Zealand -- Pop star Daniel Bedingfield has been charged with careless use of a motor vehicle following a crash in which he fractured two vertebrae in his neck. The 24-year-old New Zealand-born singer rolled the car he was driving on Jan. 2 after attending a Youth For Christ camp. The singer has been nominated in three categories, including best album and best male artist, in the annual Brit Awards, one of Britain's most prestigious pop music awards.

Judge seals divorce case of Jerry Lee Lewis

HERNANDO, Miss. -- A Mississippi judge has sealed the case file on divorce proceedings involving rock 'n' roll star Jerry Lee Lewis and his estranged wife, Kerrie McCarver Lewis. No court date has been set for the final divorce proceedings. Kerrie Lewis was awarded temporary custody and $10,000 a month in child support for the couple's son, 16-year-old Jerry Lee Lewis III, in September. Lewis, 68, married the former Kerrie McCarver, his sixth wife, in 1984.
