Orthopaedic Associates is undergoing an interior construction project.
"The project involves a complete interior remodeling of the facility located at 48 Doctors' Park," said Gerald L. Nicholson, administrator.
The remodeling is scheduled for completion in early June.
"The accommodations for patients will be greatly improved," said Nicholson. "The remodeled facility will also accommodate additional physicians on-site in order to better accommodate the growing needs of the community."
The remodeling project has been under development for about a year, said Nicholson.
"It has been carefully planned to better meet the expanding service needs represented by Cape Girardeau medical practices," said Nicholson. "The physicians of Orthopaedic Associates feel they must be able to serve the needs of the community as well as the immediate Cape Girardeau region."
Orthopaedic Associates is comprised of surgeons, Drs. Ray Ritter Jr., Gordon Eller, Michael C. Trueblood, William Thorpe and Rickey Lents.
Orthopaedic Associates' offices contain about 16,000 square feet. The group was founded in 1980.
