DIXIELAND BAND PERFORMS WITH MUNY BAND WEDNESDAY

Wednesday's concert by the Cape Girardeau Municipal Band will feature guest conductor Don McNeely and include an appearance by the Water Street Six Dixieland band headed by David Green.

The concert is scheduled at 8 p.m. at the band shell at Capaha Park.

Other parts of the program include selections from "West Side Story," "MacArthur Park," "Chorale and Shaker Dance" and "The Golden Year," a work commissioned in honor of the band's 50th anniversary of city-sponsored summer concert.
