Bill Sanders, a motivational speaker who talks to more than 200,000 people each year, will speak with over 3,000 Southeast Missouri teachers Friday.

He will ask teachers to consider their role in the classroom through the question, "Are we teaching or touching lives?"

In his 18 years as a professional speaker, he has shared the platform with Paul Harvey, Zig Ziglar, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, Dr. Robert Schuler, Terry Bradshaw, Chuck Swindoll, and former Presidents Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan.

He is also an author and answers every student letter he receives, over 2,000 a year.

He will speak Friday morning at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau. The program begins at 9 a.m.
