Discovery Playhouse opens coffee bar collaboration with Grace Coffee & Café

The Discovery Playhouse teamed up with Grace Coffee & Café to open a new coffee bar, fulfilling community requests and enhancing the playhouse experience for Cape Girardeau families.

The coffee bar will be open 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Weber said it was the end result of almost a year's worth of planning between the Discovery Playhouse and Graceful Opportunities, the not-for-profit operated by Grace Reliant Health Services, which helps people with developmental disabilities find employment. A coffee-themed children's play place was also installed as part of the collaboration.Christopher Borro ~ cborro@semissourian.com
