DEXTER -- A Stoddard County man was killed and three Oklahomans were injured after a head-on collision Sunday morning on Highway 60 west of Dudley.
Terry Strong, 27, of Dexter was pronounced dead on the scene after his car struck another vehicle head-on at 1:20 Sunday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Strong was driving east in the westbound lane of the divided highway when he struck a pickup truck driven by Dean McAtee, 27, of Tulsa, Okla.
McAtee, who was in the truck with his wife and infant son, was taken by ambulance to Dexter Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. His wife, Katherine McAtee, sustained moderate injuries and was also taken to Dexter Memorial Hospital. Their son, 1-year-old Nathaniel McAtee, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Strong was taken to Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter.
