Demolition of the old CVB Building in Cape Girardeau began Friday, June 7, 2013.

One of two track hoes begin demolition of the old Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitor's Bureau, Friday, June 7, 2013. A parking lot will take the place of the old building that stood at the corner of Broadway and Main Street. The building will be cleared in time for the Great Race, which will be in town June 25.
