The Delta Queen steamboat will dock at the Cape Girardeau riverfront Wednesday.
The stop is an unscheduled one by the Delta Queen, which was originally scheduled to be at Henderson, Ky., on that date. The Henderson stop had to be postponed because of low water.
The Queen will dock here at 11 a.m., and remain until 4:30 p.m.
The Cape Girardeau Convention and Tourism Bureau will meet and greet visitors. It will arrange shuttles to the River Heritage Museum and Glenn House. Also on hand will be the Cape Girardeau Paddlewheelers and a live band.
The Delta Queen and Mississippi Queen docked here during the July 4 holiday, and the Mississippi Queen stopped here July 6.
