DELTA -- Crystal Henson, a student at Delta High School, has been named a United State National Award honor roll winner.
She will appear in the academy's official yearbook, published nationally.
Henson was nominated for the national award by Donna Zohner, an English and Spanish teacher.
She is the daughter of Woody and Debbie Rooker and Bill Henson.
The academy selects winner upon the exclusive recommendation of teachers, coaches, counselors or other school sponsors and upon the standards of selection set forth by the academy.
The criteria for selection are a student's academic performance, interest and aptitude, leadership qualities, responsibility, enthusiasm, motivation to learn and citizenship.
