DELTA HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES SCHOLARSHIP, AWARD RECIPIENTS

DELTA -- Delta High School has announced the winners of several scholarships and awards received by graduating seniors.

The awards and scholarships are based on academic standing, leadership, citizenship, character and scholastic achievement.

Gina Eftink received the Cargill Scholarship from the Cargill Foundation.

Chris Blattel, Lana Cook, Gina Eftink, Maria Glaus and Al Peaser received the Presidential Academic Fitness Award. Amy Seabaugh received a certificate for extraordinary effort.

Chris Blattel, Lana Cook, Maria Glaus, Al Peaser and Amy Seabaugh were awarded the College Preparatory Studies Certificate.

Gina Eftink and Al Peaser were given the National Scholar-Athlete Award.

Lana Price received the DAR Award and the Principal's Leadership Award.

Chris Blattel, Gina Eftink and Maria Glaus received the George Washington Carver Award.

Lana Cook received the Century III Leaders Certificate of Merit.

Chris Blattel and Gina Eftink received the Southeast Missouri State University President's Scholarship.

Kelly Kinder received the PTO Scholarship. Shelia Sanders was the runner-up.

Lana Cook received the Paul Bock Scholarship, the Missouri Teacher Education Scholarship and the SADD Scholarship.

Chris Blattel received the National Honor Society Scholarship and the Capital Bank Scholarship.
