Deer interrupts surfing tryouts

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- Surfing-team tryouts were interrupted by a four-legged friend who apparently wanted to get in on the fun. Surfers at Dana Point were shocked when a deer rushed into the ocean Thursday. One surfer bailed out of a wave when the animal appeared suddenly in front of him.
