The Cape County Republican Women's Club will host its 45th annual Lincoln Day Dinner at 6 p.m. March 8 at Ray's Plaza Conference Center in Cape Girardeau.
The featured speaker will be David Limbaugh of Cape Girardeau. Limbaugh is an author and writes a syndicated column that appears in the Southeast Missourian.
The evening's master of ceremonies will be Ed Martin, Missouri Republican Party chairman.
Attendees also will hear from U.S. Rep. Jason Smith; Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder; Tom Schweich, state auditor; state Sen. Wayne Wallingford; state Rep. Donna Lichtenegger; state Rep. Kathy Swan; and Catherine Hanaway, Republican National Committee committeewoman and candidate for governor.
Awards will be presented to volunteers by the Cape County Republican Central Committee, SEMO Pachyderm Club and the family of the late Weldon Macke.
Tickets are $20 in advance and are available at Horizon Screen Printing and JCS Wireless in Cape Girardeau and at the Cashbook Journal in Jackson. Tickets purchased after March 6 will be $25.
