JACKSON -- David Beeson of Jackson is the new president of the 32nd Judicial Circuit Bar Association.
Beeson, a member of the Buerkle, Beeson and Ludwig law firm of Jackson, was elected the 1994-95 president during the association's recent election of officers.
Elected vice president was Michael Richey of the Calvin and Richey law firm in Cape Girardeau. Albert Spradling III of Cape Girardeau was elected secretary and Circuit Judge William Syler treasurer.
Beeson is city attorney for Jackson, Perryville and Biehle.
Beeson is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and Memphis State University School of Law. He has been in law practice for 20 years.
Beeson is also chairman of the Board of Directors of Brehm Prepartory School, Inc in Carbondale, Ill., which provides a residential junior- and senior-high school program for children with learning disabilities.
Beeson and his wife, Diana, have two children, Jessica and Alex.
