KELSO -- The fourth annual Cystic Fibrosis fund-raiser dance will be held May 2 from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Kelso Knights of Columbus Hall.
Proceeds from the dance, three cash drawings and a cash bar will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Association, according to Sally LeGrand, dance chairperson.
LeGrand said money raised from the dance will go to fund research to help find a cure for the disease.
Cystic fibrosis is the No. 1 inherited killer of children and young adults in the United States. The disease attacks the lungs and digestive system. One in 20 Americans unknowingly carry the CF gene.
There will be a cash donation at the door. Chances for the cash drawings will be available on the night of the event or by calling the Knights of Columbus Hall in advance.
