Since Saturday, Cape Girardeau Public Works crews have been picking up limbs scattered by weekend storms.
Crews are still working in the northeast section of town and will move out to other parts of Cape Girardeau when work is completed there.
Residents with tree limbs to be removed are asked to place them on their front curb in manageable pieces. Those seeking to place their address on the list for a pick up are asked to call 334-9151.
Also relating to the storm, if residents have spoiled food resulting from a power outage they may call 334-9151 to schedule a free pickup.
Residents may also drop off spoiled items directly at the city transfer station but must call the number to arrange the drop off.
