By Saturday evening, New Madrid was the only county in Southeast Missouri with more than 1 percent of AmerenUE customers still without power; about 10 percent of customers, 484 households, were in the dark.

In addition, about 3,200 SEMO Electric Cooperative members were without power Saturday night, down from 3,700 early Friday. The company estimates 90 percent of its members will have electricity by the end of Wednesday and all of its members will have power restored by Feb. 18.
