Crash closes Route 3 near Thebes
THEBES, Ill. -- Highway 3 near Thebes was closed around 7 p.m. after a car crash, according to the Illinois State Police.

A trooper who was directing traffic away from Thebes around 9 p.m. said that the road could still be closed this morning. He declined to comment on the cause of the crash or if there were serious injuries.
