JACKSON -- Cape Girardeau County's sales tax receipts are holding steady at a double figure increase.
The October check was for $320,929, up from the $289,138 last October, an increase of 11 percent.
For the 10 months of 1994, growth is running 10.65 percent ahead of 1993. Total receipts are $3,198,120, compared with $2,890,095 for this same time last year.
In 1993, Cape County's total receipts from its half-cent sales tax totaled $3.450 million.
