This year will be the last year that the road tax will be collected. Voters on Aug. 8 approved a half-cent sales tax measure that also eliminated the road tax.

The hearing will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 14 in the county commission chambers in the County Administration Building, 1 Barton Square in Jackson.
