COUNTY EXTENSION OPENS NEW OFFICE

Meyer speaks: Dr. William Meyer, president of the county Extension Council, make opening remarks during the dedication ceremony Tuesday.

Vice president is present: Dr. Ron Turner, executive vice president of the Extension Council, was among the speakers Tuesday.

Langs honored: Lisa Lang represented the Byron and Margaret Lang family, which donated the 2.5 acres of land on which the new Extension office sits.

Plant will grow: Dortha Strack planted a Gingko tree, provided by the Family Community Education group, during the dedication ceremony.

Inside: Visitors took guided tours of the interior of the new Extension office.
