A new Country Companies office has opened at 1200 N. Kingshighway.
Bob Myrick of Cape Girardeau, an agent in the Country Companies Pulaski-Alexander-Massey Agency, opened the new agency here. Joining Myrick in the new office are agents Tim Caldwell and Larry Crosier.
"I opened the office here to offer clients better facilities," said Myrick, who offers area residents life, auto, home, health and disability insurance.
"The new office features an advanced computer system," said Myrick. "We will be linked directly with the Country Companies' home office in Bloomington, Ill. This computer system can offer rate comparisons in minutes."
Myrick started his career with the Country Companies in 1971. In 1988 he received the Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow designation, and is currently working toward his certified life underwriter designation.
He has been named All-American twice and an All-Star three times. These Country Companies designations are presented to agents for outstanding life-insurance sales and service.
Myrick has also been the recipient of the Health Insurance Quality Award, the National Sales Achievement Award and National Quality Award.
Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Myrick's wife, Janet, will work in the new office.
