The Community Caring Council formed a task force to look more closely at the impact welfare reform will have on the community. The council thinks that many changes are in the future and that this will have a tremendous impact, not only on the way that services are provided to families, but how it will affect all of us including the business community. The Welfare Reform Task Force will meet at 10 a.m. on Friday following the regularly scheduled meeting of the Caring Council. The Caring Council meeting begins at 7:30 and should end by 9:30. Both meetings will be at the Centenary Methodist Church, 300 N. Ellis.
