VANDUSER -- Jim Johnson, a cotton ginner at Vanduser, is one of four Missourians who have been elected to leadership positions in the National Cotton Council.
Johnson was elected unit vice chairman. Other elected during the Council's 53rd annual meeting, held at Los Angeles, are Senath grower Charles H. Parker, renamed to the Council's Producer Steering Committee; Kennett producer Cyril Owen, chairman of Council's Missouri-Illinois unit; and Edward B. Carr, of Dunklin County Compress and Warehouse Co., Malden, was elected secretary.
