COSMETOLOGY COMPETITION WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Stephen Quick, an instructor at Stage One, The Hair School in Cape Girardeau, compiled the highest point total for a professional during the recent Southeast Missouri Cosmetologists Competition and Trade Show held at Drury Lodge.

Lee Ann Blankenship, a student at Stage One, compiled the highest total points for a student.

The two-day event was sponsored by the Regional Cosmetology Association, Affiliate 23.

Quick finished first in the total male '91 competition, second in four categories, and third in two categories.

Blankenship captured firsts in the categories of men's haircutting, men's hairstyling, corrective makeup, and fantasy.
