CORRECTION: Witnesses recount events surrounding fatal Cape Girardeau stabbing

Ryan Harkey threw his hands in the air and began to run away during a Dec. 9 altercation with Jerry Conrad that led to Conrad's stabbing death. Conrad followed Harkey, and Harkey struck him in the back of the head, a witness testified. The Southeast Missourian and semissourian.com originally reported that a witness testified to seeing Conrad, the stabbing victim, throw up his hands.
