SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a contract for asphalt resurfacing in Bollinger, Mississippi, New Madrid, Scott and Stoddard counties during its regular meeting Dec. 7. The $2,534,726 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company LLC of St. Louis.
The project includes thin lift overlays on: Highway 91 from Highway 51 to Highway 25 in Bollinger and Stoddard counties; Route B from U.S. 62 to Highway 80 in Mississippi County; Route A from Highway 77 to U.S. 61 in Scott County; Route BB from Route ZZ to Highway 114 in Scott County; Route U from U.S. 61 to Route H in Scott County; Route Z from U.S. 61 to Highway 114 in New Madrid and Scott counties; and Route ZZ from the Stoddard County line to U.S. 61 in Scott County.
Work could begin as early as spring, with completion anticipated in fall.
