ST. LOUIS — A $19 million project to revitalize Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis is underway.
Construction work began Monday on the park that sits near the Old Courthouse. The not-for-profit group CityArchRiver redesigned Kiener Plaza, with plans to add a fountain and garden, remove much of the concrete and add a large central lawn, among other changes.
The project is expected to be completed by spring 2017.
